Keeping It Simple is NOT Simple

“If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.”

— Albert Einstein

Your Simple Thought of the Week:

There are many things we know. Many more we don’t know. But by far the biggest chunk of things is the one made up of what we don’t know that we don’t know.

In the face of and withering from the onslaught and barrage of the digital feces storms constantly assailing us doesn’t it behoove us to keep it simple?

Yet SIMPLE is so incredibly HARD. Why?

Because we make it so. WE LOVE to complicate things. Fred DeLuca, Subway’s founder was fond of telling me “don’t over think it!”

Best advice I ever got Fred…

“Simple can be harder than complex; you have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.”
― Steve Jobs
