Why Drowning in A Thimble Is Even Possible

Your Simple Thought of the Week:

Some people can drown in a thimbleful of water

That’s what my grandmother used to tell me.

We all know the types.

Drama queens. Everything is blown out of proportion. Super sized. Chicken Little. The end of the world. Peter and the Wolf.

It’s the “woe is me” attitude.

Problem is, when everything is major, nothing is major.

We don’t have the cycles, the energy for dealing with mountains that are really molehills.

“You don’t drown by falling in the water; you drown by staying there.”

— Edwin Louis Cole
